Who we are
Design, develop, deliver
Those three words are on our logo because they describe the whole job, not a slogan. We draw it, we engineer it, we build it, and we are still there at handover to answer for it.
L&R Developers Limited is a Jamaican civil engineering and construction company. We work for private homeowners, business owners, developers and overseas clients who own property here and need someone on the ground they can rely on.
The company is built around a simple idea. If the same people are responsible for the drawing and the building, there is nobody to blame and nowhere for a problem to hide. It makes us careful at the design stage, because we are the ones who have to build it.
How we work
What you can expect from us
We price it honestly
The quotation you get is the one we intend to build to. Where something is uncertain, such as ground conditions we have not seen, we say so in writing rather than burying it and coming back for more later.
We build to the drawing
Steel goes in at the size and spacing the design calls for. Concrete gets the mix it was specified at. If a change is needed on site, you hear about it before it happens, not after.
We keep you informed
A weekly update with photographs, what got done, what is next, and anything that has come up. Clients overseas get the same information as clients who can drive past the site.
We finish the job
Snagging is part of the contract, not a favour. We work through the list until you sign it off, and you get the as built drawings for your records.
